Marketcheck, the UK’s most significant source of data on the used UK market, has today published statistics analysing the performance of the Tesla Model 3 over 2025.
Sales of used Tesla 3s have significantly decreased in the UK since March 2025. Sales reached their peak in March, with 2,129 sold across the UK – within six months this fell to 1,563, a decrease of 26.59%.

This is contrary to the significant growth seen in the previous year, when sales increased by almost a third. A total of 862 used Tesla 3s were sold in January 2024, rising by 262 (30.39%) to 1,124 in December 2024.

“After strong growth throughout 2024, used Tesla Model 3 sales have seen a noticeable drop in 2025, falling by over 26% between March and September – this noticeable shift suggests that the early surge in demand may be tapering off as the market adjusts.
While the Model 3 remains one of the most popular used EVs in the UK, this decline could reflect increased competition from other electric models, greater price sensitivity among buyers, or simply a maturing market finding its balance after a period of rapid growth.
