The full record behind a listing
Search gives you the shortlist; this API gives you the car. Pass a listing ID and receive the complete record: vehicle basics, advertised price and its changes, mileage, colours, options and features, seller comments, dealer contact details and FCA status, plus performance figures from horsepower to CO2 and Euro standard.
If the listing has expired, the API can redirect you to the active or most recent version of the same car automatically.

FAQ
Common questions
What identifies a listing?
Every car in a search result carries a listing ID; pass it to this API for the full record. IDs are case-sensitive and remain valid after the listing expires, so you can enrich historical data too.
What happens when a listing expires?
Ask the API to redirect you: redirect_to_active returns the car’s currently live advert if one exists, and redirect_to_latest returns the most recent version, so relisted cars never leave you with a dead record.
How do cached images work?
Dealer websites move and delete photos constantly. The Cached Image API serves copies from MarketCheck’s servers by listing and image ID, with four-hour private caching, so a vehicle page you built last month still shows its photos today.
How deep does the detail go?
Beyond the basics: options and features lists, seller comments, standardised descriptions, dealer FCA status and group affiliation, and performance data including horsepower, torque, acceleration, MPG, CO2 emissions and Euro standard.
