Marketcheck, the UK’s most significant source of data on the used vehicle market, has today published its full-year analysis of used Tesla sales in 2025, revealing a distinct seasonal pattern of growth followed by a steady decline.

However, sales have declined in every subsequent month, finishing the year at 1,941 units sold in December, a 34.9% drop from the summer high.

Alastair Campbell, Marketcheck UK, commented:
“Used Tesla sales saw strong momentum through the spring and summer months of 2025, but the second half of the year revealed signs of softening demand. December’s figures mark the lowest monthly sales volume in over a year.
While Tesla remains one of the most sought-after EV brands in the UK, these figures suggest a slowing over the second half of 2025. Whether this downward trend continues into 2026 will depend on pricing, competition, and ongoing consumer confidence in EVs.
Marketcheck will continue to analyse emerging trends across the used EV market.”
