Used EV prices hit record low – £22,805 in June

Marketcheck, the most significant source of data on the UK used car market, has today released its monthly analysis demonstrating that June was the cheapest ever month on average to buy a used EV in the UK.

The average last listed price of sold used EVs in the UK was £22,805.97 – this is down from £24,352.58 in January 2025.

In addition, there were 20,081 sold used EVs in June. The second highest month, behind March 2025 with 20,882 units sold.

Average Price of Sold Used Car vs Month

Alastair Campbell, Marketcheck UK, commented:

“The June figures continue to demonstrate a consistent reduction in the last listed price of used EVs. This is alongside the second highest sold monthly volume of used EVs, which is showing that the used EV market is in good health right across the UK.

This combination of falling prices and high volumes signals that used EVs are becoming more accessible and desirable to UK buyers. Marketcheck’s data will continue to monitor this evolving space as electric vehicles become a more mainstream choice for second-hand car buyers.”
