MarketCheck, the UK’s leading source of used vehicle market data, has today revealed that used Tesla sales fell for a third consecutive month in July 2026, continuing a marked slowdown from the highs recorded earlier in the year.
A total of 2,838 used Teslas were sold during July, down from 3,098 in June and 3,589 in May.
Sales reached a high of 4,411 units in April 2026.
The slowdown has become progressively more apparent over the summer.
Despite the recent slowdown, volumes earlier in 2026 were considerably higher. MarketCheck recorded 2,887 sales in January and 2,911 in February, before transactions jumped to 4,346 in March and peaked at 4,411 in April.
Alastair Campbell, MarketCheck UK, commented:
“There’s been a clear change in momentum in the used Tesla market over the past few months.”
“Sales accelerated sharply during March and April, but since that April high we’ve now seen three consecutive monthly declines. By July, monthly sales were more than a third below their spring peak.”
“What’s particularly interesting is that July has also slipped slightly below the level we recorded a year ago. The question now is whether we’re seeing a temporary summer slowdown or the beginning of a more sustained drop off in used Tesla sales.”
