Alastair Campbell Marketcheck UK, commented: “These figures indicate there is plenty of growth to come in the UK used EV market. As consumers start to upgrade their cars, more models are entering the market, driving down the price and making EVs an even more attractive option for motorists”.

Jonathan Seaman, CEO anycolourcar added:

“We’ve found strong interest in EVs, with many of our buyers being first-time EV owners. They appreciate that much of the initial depreciation has already occurred, making the switch more financially appealing. The general sentiment is one of curiosity—buyers are keen to transition from ICE vehicles but seek value and reassurance, particularly in terms of warranties and understanding what everyday life looks like as an EV owner.”
